Natural red The raw material for clay roofing tiles consists of natural, indigenous clay deposits, wich after extremely fine preparation acquire their final properties by firing at temperatures of approx. 1050 degree celcius including the natural red shade of colour. Engobe Clay slips applied before firing - no colours! - give the tiles the required shades of colour after firing. The typical properties of the clay tile remain entirely constant. Effect-Glaze Glazed roofing tiles because of their elegant visual qualities offer a wide range of possibilities for individual roof design. A wide-ranging choice of colours permits optimum co-ordination in the colour harmony of Nature, building structure and roof.
